Coin Cell Battery Holders

Description:

Battery holders for single cell (3 volt systems) are available in SMT or through hole format. A battery holder for a dual coin cell (6 volt systems) is available only in through hole format. Plastic insulators are molded of a glass filled thermoplastic. The through hole variations have the positive contact formed of fully hardened beryllium copper, with the negative contact using hard brass. The surface mount product uses full hard stainless steel for both contacts. All contacts have an overall nickel plating of 1.27 µm [50 µin.]. In addition, the SMT variation has a selective plate of 3.81 µm [150 µin.] tin/lead on the solder tails.
